RadonZoneCheck

What this site is

RadonZoneCheck reports county-level EPA radon zone ratings and related reference figures. It is informational only and is not a substitute for an actual radon test of a specific property, which only a real test kit or a certified measurement professional can provide.

No warranty on the figures

Every figure traces to EPA's or the Census Bureau's own published data, but a county zone is a 1993-vintage predicted average — it cannot and does not describe any individual house. Nothing on this site is guaranteed to match the radon level in any specific building, and no result here should be the sole basis for a real-estate, health, or remediation decision.

No health or professional advice

Nothing on this site is medical, health, engineering, or legal advice. Radon is a real health consideration, but this site reports EPA's own screening data and guidance only — it does not diagnose, estimate, or imply any individual's health risk. Whether to test or mitigate a specific property should be based on an actual test result and, where needed, a licensed professional.
